Flashpoint FL Updates: Coming Soon!
So I’m planning to make some changes to my Flashpoint Fanlisting. They’re not going to happen right away because I have an upcoming fanlisting and a few pending applications at TFL so I want to give those priority. Here’s some of the planned changes:
- I just purchased a domain name for the fanlisting, so it will be on its own domain rather than the current subdomain.
- I will be making a new layout for when I move the FL to the new domain.
- I will more than likely reorganize some of the pages a bit and probably make the site feel more like a fansite than a fanlisting.
That’s all I have planned right now, but I might come up with some other things to do. We’ll see how it goes.

Internet Troubles…yet again
I just wanted to let you all know that I am having problems with my internet again. But this time I’m pretty sure the problem is my mom’s computer. Last time we thought that it was our wireless router, but we bought a new one and its doing the exact same thing again. Since the routers were made by two different companies, and they’re both having the same issue, it leads me to believe that the problem is the computer it is connected to.
Now, since the new router is a much better router, it seems to work fine when the main computer (my mom’s) is not on. Once that computer has been turned off for a little while its like it resets itself and then I can connect to it again with my computer in my bedroom. But when my mom is working, or my dad is online upstairs on the main computer, the router doesn’t want to cooperate. But we are planning eventually to replace my computer with that computer and I’m going to be getting a new laptop for school, but I think we’re probably going to do that sooner than originally planned because of this ongoing problem with the upstairs computer.
That’s all. I just wanted to let you all know what’s going on, because it seems to be whenever I’m in the middle of doing something on my websites that I have troubles, like today, I was trying to add an affiliate to two of my fanlistings and then I got disconnected because my mom was working upstairs. Right now, my mom happened to go in the shower, and my dad has been doing stuff in the basement all day. So as soon as my mom went in the shower I was able to get online again, but I don’t know when she’s going to be working on the other computer again.
Hopefully, this won’t be happening for much longer, but I just wanted you all to know, in case something happens again.

P.S. And of course, in the middle of trying to post this, it happened again. So this won’t be posted until sometime later today (after writing it, rather than as soon as I was done writing it). This is extremely frustrating!!

Tonight’s Episode of Flashpoint
Business As Usual. Great episode. Of course. It was especially great because it was about the current recession, so that tells me that they are paying attention to what is going on in the world. And its current. I like that. My dad got a little over excited about it, but he thoroughly enjoyed the episode and was quite happy about the fact that they were dealing with the current happenings in our world.

Season 2
So, I can now confirm that Flashpoint’s second season has started. CTV has updated their Flashpoint episode guide showing episodes from season 2. They are now showing the same as CBS and IMDB.
I have to admit that this disappointed me a little bit because I heard in an interview with the cast, after the first 9 episodes of the show had aired, that they were shooting the last three episodes of season 1 (later, but they were in the middle of shooting them during the interview). So I understood that Eagle Two, Backwards Day, and Haunting the Barn were those three episodes. In an earlier post, I told you that I read on tvnz.co.nz was saying that Between Heartbeats was the season finale.
Obviously, somewhere along the way, stories got mixed up. But I’m going by what CTV says since they are my main source of Flashpoint info, mostly because I’m Canadian, the show is Canadians, and also because they are Flashpoint’s main broadcaster. The show just happened to get picked up in the US by CBS so I do look to them for information as well. But I focus on CTV.

I still don’t actually know what episodes are officially part of Season 2. CBS and IMDB have Episode 10 (110): Eagle Two listed as the first episode of season 2, but CTV hasn’t listed any episode as being part of season 2. In a video on CTV, the cast talks about shooting the last three episodes of season 1 a little bit later after the first 9 episodes had aired. So I’m pretty sure the first 12 episodes are season 1. So, I am unsure of whether or not Business As Usual is part of Season 1 or 2. It’s not listed in CTV’s episode guide yet so maybe it will be soon and I can confirm this.

Between Heartbeats to air this Friday
I can now confirm that the new episode Between Heartbeats will air this Friday, February 13 on CTV. I assume it will be airing on CBS as well, since it’s always the same.

New Domain
I purchased a new domain name that I will be moving all my fanlistings to. I’m in the process right now of moving everything over and I will soon be notifying TFL. Once everything is complete I will also send an email to all members of my fanlistings to let them know of the move.

This Week’s Flashpoint Episode
It looks like this weeks episode is going to be a rerun again. This week on CTV and CBS are airing a repeat of Ep. 107: He Knows His Brother:
Rolland (Tyler Hynes, Tagged: The Jonathan Wamback Story ) and Simon Strachan (Landon Liboiron, Don’t Cry Now, Mayerthorpe) are two brothers with a terrible secret—their powerful lawyer father has been beating them for years, to “toughen” them up and make them worthy of the Strachan family name. Between Heartbeats
Ok, so I just figured out why IMDB.com had an episode listed called Between Heartbeats. I didn’t realize this before, but the show has been airing in New Zealand and I just watched a promo for the episode here. I didn’t get to watch the show tonight, though, it looks like it was Planets Aligned again as originally posted (because that’s what my Digital Cable info thing told me, and I saw someone posted on the CTV Flashpoint forum about it). According to this New Zealand station, Between Heartbeats is the season finale of the show. I don’t know if this is correct or not, but it makes sense. I’ll keep you all updated on when this episode is expected to Air.
